Well House 2007 Statistics

 

1. Total number of households served: 59

This Number includes:

41 Households comprised of families.

18 Households comprised of single females.

2. Total number of children served: 94

56 between the ages of 0-5

26 between the ages of 6-12

  9 between the ages of 13-17

3. Average family size was 3.27

This did not include single adult households.

4. 9% of households stayed for 5 days or less.

5. Average length of stay was 25 days.

6. Average occupancy rate was 76%.

(That means how full Well House was.)

7. 100% were referred by HAP.

(Or on rare occasions came in and then went to HAP and we only kept them if HAP referred them after the assessment.)

8. 153 Individuals served.

9. 59% moved to stable permanent housing.

10. Well House received significant grants from MSHDA, GRACE, DHS, and the Wege Foundation during 2007.  Our main source of funding comes from The Salvation Army.
